The Leadership Beatrice Alumni Network (LBAN) is a source of volunteer assistance for area organizations, of education for alumni members, and of future leadership for our community.

WHO WE ARE 

The Leadership Beatrice Alumni Network was created by the 3rd year class of the Leadership Beatrice program offered through the Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce. The LBAN group was formed to allow a continuing education experience in the lives of LB students to ensure ongoing training and knowledge so that we may better prepare ourselves in our roles as community leaders.

OUR MISSION

To provide continued opportunities to Connect, Engage, and Inform Leadership Beatrice alumni with other LBAN members, with community leaders, and with area organizations.  LBAN exists to facilitate communication between its members and the community, to provide a forum for continued educational and social networking opportunities, to connect members with leadership opportunities on boards and committees, and to recognize members for continued commitment.

OUR OBJECTIVE  

• To promote and initiate programs that provide with continued education and information focusing on economics, cultural, social and political issues and topics related to Beatrice and surrounding area.

• To provide a social, professional, and informational network.

• To encourage membership support of the LBAN including but not limited to financial support, recruitment, curriculum, and program development.

• To promote and encourage alumni members to continue expanding as community leaders.

• To connect and engage members with volunteer and leadership opportunities on local, regional and state boards and committees.

• To collaborate and partner with other organizations and institutions which further the mission of LBAN and its members.
